Precautions for operating a hydraulic breaker hammer

  • A debris shield device is to be fitted in front of the cab to prevent injury from flying debris while working.
  • All site personnel, including the excavator driver, must wear earplugs and masks during work.
  • The driver should sit in the seat to operate the crusher and only use the crusher when both the excavator and the crusher are in normal condition.
  • If someone enters the hazardous area of work, the hydraulic breaker should be stopped immediately, because people can be easily hit by flying debris when working with the breaker as opposed to working with the excavator.
  • When working with a hydraulic breaker hammer, the operator of the excavator should comply with the safety regulations of the excavator manufacturer and confirm the use of a well-installed and properly commissioned breaker hammer.
  • Do not operate the hammer if you are intoxicated or have a reaction to medication.
  • When carrying out maintenance and overhaul, make sure the working condition is stable and lower the working device
