Operating Temperature Range of Hydraulic Breaking Hammers

Hydraulic Breaking Hammers should be operated at temperatures between -20°C ~ 80°C (-4°F ~ 176°F).

When the temperature is below -20°C (-4°F), the hydraulic breaker hammer must be preheated before starting work on the breaker hammer and steel rod in order to avoid damage to the accumulator, skin bowl and steel rod.

Caution:

  • When the temperature is below -20°C, do not put the hydraulic breaker hammer into operation when the temperature of the hydraulic oil is still in a very low state, otherwise it will lead to the rupture of the oil seal of the breaker hammer and the high pressure of the accumulator will tear the skin bowl.
  • Hydraulic crushing hammer must maintain normal operating temperature during the working period.
